Lydbury Accommodation

Welcome to Lydbury Accommodation – luxury self-contained appartments set in the beautiful grounds of the lovely Old Vicarage, Lydbury North, Shropshire.

All the Lydbury Apartments are self-contained with their own front door. All four have ensuite shower rooms with powerful showers and plenty of hot running water. Each apartment has a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, sink toaster and kettle. Each has a Freeview flat screen television and free wifi. There is a sitting area as well as a useful desk area. Outside is a covered veranda and pleasant views to the front garden and the village beyond. There is a large garden behind the main house which guests are welcome to use. There is ample room for BBQs and picnics. There is ample car parking space outside the apartments and bicycles can be housed in the garage.

Willow Cottage
The Willows is a larger apartment and can sleep two people in absolute comfort. There is a spacious double bedroom with ensuite shower room with a powerful shower and plenty of hot running water. This bedroom can also be made up with two very comfortable twin beds. The Willows has double glazing and full central heating. By prior arrangement we can accommodate one or two children on put-you-up beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, toaster and kettle. There is also a dishwasher and combined washer/drier.

The spacious and comfortable sitting room has a Freeview flat screen television and free wifi. The dining area has plenty of room for six round the solid wooden table.

Outside is a small patio with pleasant views to the front garden and the village beyond. There is a large garden behind the main house which guests are welcome to use. There is ample room for BBQs and picnics

Kwerky Cottage
Kwerky Cottage is a self-contained annex comprising the south wing of the main house. It is the oldest part of the building and is truly quirky. Entrance to it is via the back door of the main house or through the garden room or sauna room, both leading in from the large garden at the back of the house.

At the heart of Kwerky Cottage is the kitchen-breakfast room (formerly the back kitchen). This contains a sink unit, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric cooker, microwave cooker, storage shelves and table and chairs. In addition there are washing machines and tumble driers available by arrangement in the main house.

Leading up from one corner of the kitchen breakfast room is an ancient door that opens into a boxed staircase leading through double doors to a bright, sunny south-facing double bedroom with views to the garden and wooded farmland beyond. The additional landing bedroom can comfortably accommodate two additional members of the same family group on put-you-up beds.

Leading from the small lobby next to the kitchen-breakfast room is a short staircase leading to a lovely and private double room – once again with magic views over the garden and local farmland. The lobby also gives access to a spacious shower room with infrared sauna.

Finally, the kitchen opens into the spacious garden room with television and DVD player. Once again, the sliding glazed doors give easy access to the garden. A futon provides additional comfortable sleeping arrangements so Willow Cottage can sleep up to a maximum of 8 members of a family group with some space for cots – one can be provided by arrangement.
