This small village is located in the county of Shropshire, England. It is situated within the civil parish of Baschurch and lies approximately 6 miles north-west of the market town of Shrewsbury. Despite its size, Burlton has a rich history and boasts an array of historic landmarks and attractions. One of the most notable of these is St. John the Baptist Parish Church, which dates back to the 12th century and features a beautiful Norman doorway. Another must-see attraction in the area is Burlton Hall, a Grade II listed building that was once a hunting lodge for the Earl of Bradford.
